I’m Jody Standridge, also known as JoJo, Jodybird & Jody Jody 😉. I am a daughter, mom, caregiver, storyteller, soccer fan, and the heart behind Gears to Grace with JoJo #47.

My story has never followed a straight road.

I grew up around racing, horsepower, used Auto Parts, men, hard work, and the unforgettable legacy of my dad, NASCAR driver Billy Standridge. Some of my greatest memories were built around race cars, our family business, and watching my dad chase something he loved.

But life has also brought seasons I never could have planned for.

I became a mom young and raised three incredible daughters who are my entire world. And just so we’re clear you bother them, you’ve disturbed Mama. 😉

I’m also a twin dad, a soccer fan, and someone who loves to cook.

I’ve faced difficult chapters in my life, including a few that have knocked me off my feet — literally. I’ve learned what it means to start over — completely — and along the way, I discovered a strength I didn’t know I had and I’ve battled my bladder my life with this awful disease Interstitial Cystitis, retention and infections and I will fight until the very end.

Through it all, my faith and my family have remained at the center of my life.
